Interesting

I do not monitor the bottling practices of the American bottled water industry but I found this 'spot check' interesting:

Product: Ozarka (R) 0.5 L (lot: HA0124062115L1)
Company: Ozarka Spring Water Company (a division of a huge conglomerate)
Company Address: Greenwch, Conneticut
Water Source: Piney Woods Springs, Wood County, Texas

Hmm, that is interesting...

So Ozarka Natural Spring Water doesn't have to be water from an ACTUAL spring, just water from a place with the word "spring" in the name?? Shady...

I recommend investing in a Brita, especially if we buying water from our own backyards... :)

Bottled water isn't as fancy as you might think. Most of it really does come from our own backyards. Always check your labels. And your blogs, apparently. I didn't realize that Mr Hopper was back in town. I'm glad I checked!
